ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Inform

Hey kiddo, do you know what information is? It's like the stuff you learn when your teacher tells you new things.

So, inform means to give someone information or tell them something new. Let's say your friend asks you what you had for breakfast today. When you tell them you had Cheerios, you're informing them about what you ate.

In the adult world, people inform others in many ways - like through books, newspapers, television, or even talking face-to-face.

So, inform is just a way of sharing new info with someone else. Pretty cool, huh?
