Inverse kinematics

Inverse kinematics is a way for robots to figure out how to move to get from one place to another. Imagine a robot arm that has a bunch of joints, like our arms and legs. Inverse kinematics tells the robot how to move each joint so the arm can move to a certain spot. To do this, you give the robot the coordinates of the spot you want it to go to, and it uses math to figure out how to move each joint so it can get there.
