ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

JavaScript library

A javascript library is like a big box of toys that programmers can use to make their websites look cool and do special things without having to create everything from scratch. Just like how you can build different things with legos, programmers can use different tools from the javascript library to make their website work the way they want it to. The library has lots of different tools, like buttons, pop-up windows, and animations, that the programmer can use however they want to make their website look and act awesome.
