Jewish atheism is when a person is Jewish but doesn't believe in a God or a higher power. Many Jews have different views on religion and a lot of times, people don't have to be religious to be Jewish. Being Jewish is a culture and identity that's passed down from family members, as well as through education and traditions. Jewish atheists don't believe in a God, so they don't practice prayer or ritual practices such as keeping kosher diets or going to the synagogue. Instead, Jewish atheists focus on living a moral and meaningful life according to their own beliefs and values. They may still celebrate Jewish holidays or have strong ties to the Jewish culture.
