ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Kshetra

Dear little one,

Kshetra is a Hindi word that means "field." Imagine going to a big farm where there are lots of different fields with different crops growing in them. These are all kshetras!

A kshetra can also refer to a holy place or a place of worship in Hinduism. Just like you have a favorite play area or park that you like to go to, people who follow Hinduism have places where they like to go to pray and connect with their religion. These places can be called kshetras too!

So, to sum it up, a kshetra can mean a field with crops growing or a holy place for Hindus to worship. I hope that helps you understand what kshetra means!
