Okay kiddo, have you ever been a part of a club or group where everyone talks to each other through email? That's kind of what a listserv is.

A listserv is like a magical email machine that can send one email to a whole bunch of people at once. But it's not just any old people, it's a group of people who are interested in the same topic or are a part of the same group.

So if you're interested in unicorns, and you join a unicorn listserv, anytime someone sends an email to that listserv, everyone in the group who is subscribed to it will get that email in their inbox.

It's a great way to talk to lots of people at once and share information about something you're interested in. Just remember to be careful with what you write because everyone in the group will see it!
