Melodrama

Melodrama is a kind of movie or play that has very strong emotions and over-the-top events. It often involves characters going through really exciting or really sad things like being in dangerous situations, making big decisions, and saying goodbye to loved ones. The music and sound effects can be very dramatic, and characters will often act in big, exaggerated ways. For example, a character might raise their voice or run away crying if they're feeling sad or scared. Melodramas usually have happy endings, where the characters learn big lessons and come out better in the end.
