Metromelt first collects all the plastic waste and shreds it into tiny pieces. Then the machine heats up those tiny pieces so hot that they start to melt. As it continues to get hotter and hotter, the melted plastic turns into something called molten plastic.
Now, the molten plastic can be shaped into anything you want and can cool down to become a new object! This process is called upcycling, which means making something new and useful from something old and discarded.
