Microblogging is a way to quickly share short pieces of information with other people. It's like texting a friend with short messages, but instead you are sharing it with a group of people who are interested in the same thing you are. You can post messages, pictures, and videos to your microblog and then other people who follow you will see what you shared. Some popular microblogging websites are Twitter and Tumblr.
