ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Mobile signature

A mobile signature is a way of identifying yourself when you use your phone to sign a document or make a transaction. It's like having your own special stamp that says "this is really me!"

When you want to use a mobile signature, you usually have to set it up first. This means you have to give some information about yourself, like your name and maybe even your fingerprint. Then, when you go to sign something, your phone will ask you to do something special to prove it's really you.

For example, it might ask you to draw your signature with your finger on the screen or put your fingerprint on the fingerprint reader. Once your phone knows it's really you, it can add your personal signature to the document or transaction you want to sign.

This is important because it helps keep you safe from fraudsters who might try to pretend to be you. With a mobile signature, you can be sure that only you can sign things using your phone.
