ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Multikernel

Multikernel is a way of running multiple types of programs at the same time on a computer. This is done by dividing a computer's resources (like memory and storage) between different "kernels", or sets of programs. For example, if you are working on a project that requires both an image editing program and a word processing program, they can both be running at the same time on a multikernel computer without needing to switch back and forth between the two programs. This makes it easier to work on both programs at once, without needing to wait for one program to finish before running the other.
