Network traffic control

Network traffic control is like when you're driving down a busy street. There are lots of cars all trying to get to their destination, but the street can only accommodate so many cars at one time. To make sure everything runs smoothly, traffic control is used to regulate the amount of traffic, speed, go and stop times of each vehicle, and to make sure everyone gets to their destination safely. In the same way, network traffic control is used to regulate the amount of data that moves around in a computer network. It helps to make sure the network isn't overloaded and everything works properly, making sure all the data reaches its destination safely and quickly.
