ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Non-autonomous mechanics

Non-autonomous mechanics are machines that need to be controlled or operated by people. This means that the machine won't do its job on its own - the person has to do something to make it work. For example, a car needs someone to turn the key in the ignition, push the accelerator, and turn the steering wheel in order to drive it. Those are all non-autonomous mechanics, because someone needs to do something to make them work.
