Ottoman decline thesis

Basically, this means that historians noticed that the Ottoman Empire wasn't doing as well as it used to. The government wasn't as strong, and the army wasn't as powerful. Some people think there were a lot of reasons for this, like problems with the economy, corruption in the government, and conflicts with other countries.
