ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Panorama

Have you ever taken a picture with your camera or phone and wished that you could capture everything you see, like the whole beach or all the buildings in a city? Well, a panorama is a special kind of picture that lets you do just that!

To take a panorama, you start by taking a picture of a small area, just like you normally would. But instead of stopping there, you slowly turn your camera or phone to one side, making sure to keep it level and not tilt it up or down. As you turn, your camera takes a bunch of pictures, one after the other, until you reach the end of the scene you want to capture.

Once you're done taking your pictures, your camera or phone puts them together to make one big, long picture that shows everything you captured in one shot. It's kind of like taking a bunch of puzzle pieces and fitting them together to make one big, beautiful picture that shows the whole picture.

So if you ever want to capture the whole scene in front of you, try taking a panorama! It's like magic, and now you don't have to worry about cramming everything into just one picture!
