Particle chauvinism is when someone only thinks that some particles (like atoms) are the only important ones. This can mean that they don't take into account other particles like quarks or gluons, which are really important for understanding the Universe. It's like when someone only likes one type of animal, or one type of food, they don't take into account the other types and it's the same with particles.
