Peter Grünberg

Peter Grünberg was a very smart and important scientist who discovered something really cool that helped make our computers work better. He found out that when you put a very tiny magnet on something called a "thin film," it can make electricity flow through it even better. This is called the "Giant Magnetoresistance effect." This made it possible for us to have more storage space on our computer hard drives, which means we can have more pictures, videos, and important files saved on our computers! Thanks to Peter Grünberg, our computers can store a lot more important things for us!
