Qutbism

Qutbism is a way of thinking about religion and politics that was developed by an Egyptian named Sayyid Qutb. It is based on the idea that people should follow Islam very strictly and that governments should be ruled by Islamic law.

Imagine that you and your friends have a game that you really like to play. The rules of the game are very important, and everyone has to follow them exactly in order to play the game right. In the same way, Qutbism believes that the rules of Islam are very important and that everyone should follow them exactly in order to live their lives right.

Qutbism also believes that Islamic law should be the basis for how countries are run. Just like how your parents set rules and expectations for how you behave at home, they believe that Islamic law should set rules and expectations for how a country runs.

However, not everyone agrees with Qutbism. Some people think that countries should be run based on different laws and that religion and politics should be separate.

So, in summary, Qutbism is a way of thinking about religion and politics that stresses the importance of strict adherence to Islamic law and the belief that Islamic law should form the basis for how governments are run.
