Roofed pole

Alright kiddo, have you ever seen a flag on a pole outside? Well, imagine if instead of a flag, there was a roof on top of that pole. That's kind of what a roofed pole is!

Sometimes people use roofed poles in their gardens or yards as a special decoration. The roof on top of the pole can keep some sun or rain off of whatever is underneath it. It can also give some shade to people or animals who might be sitting or playing nearby.

Some cultures have special meanings for roofed poles too. For example, in Japan, they have a special kind of roofed pole called a "torii" that is used to mark the entrance to a sacred place like a temple or shrine.

So, a roofed pole is basically like a regular pole but with a roof on top to provide some extra protection or decoration. You can see them in different places and they can mean different things depending on where you find them!
