Shadow banking system

Shadow banking is like a secret bank. It's a way for big companies to borrow and lend money without using a normal bank. It helps companies do things like buy new buildings or get money for their day-to-day needs. Instead of using a normal bank, big companies go to shadow banks to get money. They don't tell everyone about it because it can be expensive and harder to do than using a normal bank.
