Social informatics
Social informatics is a way of looking at how people interact with technology. It looks at how technology influences people and how people use technology to better their lives and the lives of their communities. It also looks at how different kinds of technology such as the internet and cell phones can help us stay connected to each other, spread ideas, and share information. Social informatics is like an investigation into how technology affects and is used by people.
