ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Space adaptation syndrome

Space adaptation syndrome is when your body has a hard time adjusting to being in space. It feels like you are moving even when you are standing still. It can cause nausea, dizziness, headaches, sweating, and feeling tired. To adjust your body to being in space, astronauts do special exercises and practice how to move around in the microgravity environment. They also eat healthy and get enough sleep to help their bodies adjust.
