Spelling

Spelling is when we put letters together in a certain way to make words. Each letter makes a different sound, and when we put them in a certain order, we can make lots of different words like "cat," "dog," and "cupcake." Spelling is important because it helps us communicate with each other and understand what we are reading or writing. It's like putting together a puzzle, but with letters instead of pieces, to make a picture in our brains that we can understand. When we learn to spell, we can write down our ideas, stories, and thoughts and make them easy for others to understand too!
