Spline curve

A spline curve is like drawing a wiggly line by connecting dots with a bendy ruler. Imagine you have a lot of dots and you want to connect them with a line that isn't too straight or too wiggly. You take your bendy ruler and make it go smoothly through all of the dots, making a line that looks like a smooth curve.
