Do you know what a row is? It's when things are lined up next to each other. Well, imagine a row made of stones! It's called a stone row.
People a long time ago used to make these stone rows, by putting big rocks in a straight line on the ground. Sometimes they were built to be very long, like the distance between your house and the park!
Stone rows were used for different things. Some people think they were used as markers to show where important places were. Others think they were used for ceremonies or celebrations. We don't really know for sure, because the people who made them didn't write it down for us to read.
Today, we can still see some of these stone rows in different parts of the world. They are very old and sometimes they are broken or have pieces missing. But they are still fascinating to see and think about how they got there so many years ago!
