Uncertainty relations are mathematical rules that tell us how certain we can be about the measurements of two different things at once. For example, if you were measuring how fast something was moving, and you were also measuring how far it had traveled, the uncertainty relation would tell you how accurately you could measure these two things. Stronger uncertainty relations means that these rules are tighter, which means that you cannot measure two different things as accurately as you could before.
