Stylistics

Stylistics is the study of different styles of writing or speaking. It looks at how writers or speakers use language to create a certain effect, such as making something sound funny or exciting. It also looks at how different words and phrases might be used in different contexts. Stylistics looks at why certain words or phrases are used and how they might be interpreted.
