Teleconference

A teleconference is like having a big group chat with people who might be far away. Instead of talking on the phone with just one person or texting with a few friends, you can talk or see each other at the same time on a computer, tablet or phone. Imagine it's like having a video call with lots of people at the same time.

This can be really handy when you want to have a meeting with people who work in different parts of the country or even the world. Or, maybe you are doing school work from home, and need to have a group project discussion with classmates that you can’t meet in person.

To have a teleconference, people need to use a special programme or app on their device, usually something like Zoom or Google Hangouts. The app or programme lets people see and hear each other on their computer or phone screens. Everyone can talk, ask questions, and see each other's faces, just like in a real-life meeting.

You can also show things on the screen, like a presentation or a document, so everyone can work on it together. And if you don't want to use your voice, you can type messages or use emojis on the screen.

So, a teleconference lets people talk and see each other on a screen, which is a great way to have meetings with people who might be far away!
