The Kindness Rocks Project
The Kindness Rocks Project is a really neat idea where people make rocks look super cool and colorful, with fun designs and inspirational words written on them.
Some people paint pictures of hearts, rainbows, sunshines, or anything else they like on their rocks! Others might write messages like "You Rock!" or "Be Happy!" on their rocks.
Once the rocks are finished, people leave them out in public places where anyone can find them! Sometimes you might find one hiding in a park, on a bench, on a sidewalk or in a flower garden.
Finding these rocks can put a big smile on someone’s face and reminds them to be kind and happy! You can leave them where they are for other people to enjoy or you could take them somewhere else where other people can stumble upon them - like leaving it on a bench or giving it to a friend.
