Thin-film lithium-ion battery

A thin-film lithium-ion battery is a type of battery that is made out of thin layers of different materials. Inside these layers, there are tiny particles called ions that store energy. When you need to use the energy, the ions move between the layers to provide power. Thin-film lithium-ion batteries are often used in things like cell phones and computers because they are small and light.
