ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Value stream

Value stream is the path that whatever you are making goes through from start to finish. It's like how a recipe has a lot of steps that you need to finish to create a cake. It starts with getting the ingredients, mixing the ingredients, baking the cake and then you have your finished product. Value stream is like a set of steps that you do to make something. Usually, it's used to help people make their products more efficiently. It looks at each step, makes sure it's as fast and easy as possible, and then puts everything together into one process. This makes it easier to understand and helps people get their products done faster.
