ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Viasna Human Rights Centre

Viasna Human Rights Centre is like a really important group of people who want to make sure that everyone is being treated fairly and with respect. They care a lot about something called human rights, which means that every person deserves to be treated equally and have basic things like freedom, safety and dignity.

Viasna works hard to make sure that human rights are respected in Belarus, which is a country in Europe. They try to help people who might be treated unfairly by the government, police or other powerful people in Belarus. Sometimes, they help people who have been arrested or punished for speaking up about what they believe in, or for doing things that might be seen as different or rebellious.

Viasna is really brave because they stand up for people who might not have a voice or a lot of power. They try to make sure that no one is being treated unfairly or being taken advantage of. They are like superheroes for human rights!
