ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Virtual education

Okay kiddo, so virtual education is when you learn things using the internet and a computer. It's like going to school, but you get to stay at home or wherever you have your computer.

Instead of sitting in a classroom with other kids and a teacher, you might watch videos or read lessons online. You can also talk to your teacher and classmates through video chats or message boards.

It’s like having a classroom on your computer screen! You can still ask questions, take tests and get grades just like you do in a "normal" school.

Virtual education is great because it lets you learn from anywhere as long as you have a computer and internet connection. You can even take classes from teachers who are far away from where you live.

It’s really helpful for people who can’t go to a physical school for reasons such as living far away, having health problems or even having a different family or work schedule.

That's pretty much it, little one. Virtual education is just like going to school, but on your computer screen!
