Visual impairment due to intracranial pressure

Visual impairment due to intracranial pressure (ICP) means that the pressure in your head is too high. This can cause your vision to become blurry or distorted. It can also cause headaches, dizziness, or difficulty concentrating. ICP can occur when the fluid inside your skull builds up and puts too much pressure on the brain. This can be caused by infections, brain swelling, head injuries, or a tumor. Treatments typically involve medicines to reduce swelling and relieve the pressure in your head. Surgery may also be used in some cases.
