Wallace John Eckert
Wallace John Eckert was a very smart man who lived a long time ago. He was born in April 19, 1902 in a place called Pittsburgh. When he grew up, he studied a lot and became really good at math and science. He loved working with computers and was one of the first people to ever use them!
Back then, computers were really big and took up a whole room. They weren't like the ones we have today that are small enough to fit in your pocket. Wallace John Eckert wanted to use computers to help solve problems and do really cool things.
