X-ray microtomography

X-ray microtomography is like a type of X-ray that can take 3D pictures of really tiny things! It works by taking lots and lots of X-ray pictures from different angles and then combining them together to form a 3D image. It is like a CT scan but for really tiny things – like tiny objects, small parts of plants and animals, minerals and more! Scientists use this type of X-ray to study really small things in great detail.
