ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

evolutionary biology

Evolutionary biology is about how living things change over time. It's like a big puzzle. We look at how animals, plants, and people used to look like and how they look now, and we try to figure out how they got to be that way. We also look at how different groups of animals are related to each other, and how they developed new things like adaptations and behaviors. Basically, evolution is the process that explains why different animals, plants, and people look the way they do.
