ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

friction angle

Friction angle is a concept that helps us understand the slippery-ness or grip of an object when it is touching other objects. Imagine you have a long board that you are standing on and you start sliding. The friction angle is like a measure of how slippery the board is- so it will tell you how far you go each time you try to move. The higher the friction angle, the less slippery the surface is and the less far you will slide.
