supply chain risks

Supply chain risks are things that can happen during the process of getting an item from the place it is made to the store where you buy it. It could be something like the item is stuck in traffic and won't get to the store on time, or something broke during transit and now it is not the right shape or size, or the item got damaged or destroyed on the way to the store. Supply chain risks can cause delays which can be costly for businesses, and can also mean customers don't get the item they wanted.
