ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

1 Timothy 6

Okay, so there was a man named Timothy who was a leader in a community of people who believed in God. In a letter to him, another man named Paul wrote some advice about how to be a good leader and follower of God.

Paul said that it's important to teach people the right things about God and not let them get distracted by silly arguments or things that don't matter. He also said that it's important to be content with what you have, instead of always wanting more stuff.

Paul warned Timothy that some people might try to use religion to make money or become powerful, but that's not what being a follower of God is really about. Instead, Paul said, you should focus on doing good things and being generous to others because that's what God wants us to do.
