16 Great Turkic Empires

Okay kiddo, let's talk about the 16 great Turkic empires.

First, what are empires? An empire is when a big group of people, usually one country, control lots of other smaller countries around them.

So, the Turkic people are a group of people who share a common language and culture. Over history, there were 16 times when these Turkic people had empires - which means they controlled lots of other countries and people around them.

Some of these empires were really big and powerful, and they lasted for a long time. The biggest of these was the Ottoman Empire, which lasted for over 600 years and controlled huge parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Other Turkic empires include the Seljuk Empire, which was really important in the Middle East and Central Asia, and the Timurid Empire, which was known for being really rich and powerful during the 1400s.

Each of these empires had their own leaders, armies, and cultures. But they all shared a common history as part of the Turkic people. And learning about them can help us understand how different parts of the world were connected and influenced each other over history.
