1950 Indo-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship

Okay kiddo, so in 1950, India and Nepal became very good friends and made an agreement called the Indo-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship. This treaty said that the two countries would be nice to each other and help each other out if they needed it.

It also made some other special rules for people traveling between the two countries. For example, people from Nepal could come to India without needing a passport or visa. And if people from India wanted to go to Nepal, they didn't have to pay any extra fees or taxes.

This treaty helped the two countries become even better friends and work together to solve any problems they might have had.
