In 1979, a group of protesters in Islamabad, which is the capital city of Pakistan, set fire to the United States Embassy. The protesters were mad at the United States for supporting the government of Pakistan which the protesters thought was unfair. The fire damaged the embassy and caused some people to get hurt, but no one was killed. The United States and Pakistan have since made up, but this event is still remembered as an example of how heated disagreements can sometimes get.
