Okay kiddo, let me explain what's happening in 2 Chronicles 32 like you're five years old.
So, once upon a time, there was a king named Hezekiah. He was a good king and he loved his people. One day, the bad guys called the Assyrians came to attack Hezekiah's kingdom. They were really mean and they had a big army.
Hezekiah knew he needed to do something to protect his people. So, he decided to build a big wall around the city to keep the bad guys out. He also made sure his soldiers had enough weapons and food to defend their kingdom.
The bad guys were not happy about this and they sent their leader, a guy named Sennacherib, to tell Hezekiah to surrender. Sennacherib even sent a letter to Hezekiah, saying that his army was too strong and he should just give up.
But Hezekiah didn't give up. He prayed to God to help him and his people. God answered his prayer and sent an angel to defeat the bad guys.
When Sennacherib saw that his army was no match for God's power, he decided to give up and go back home. Hezekiah's kingdom was saved, and the people were very happy.
From this story, we can learn that even when things look really bad, we should pray to God for help. He can always come to our rescue, just like He helped Hezekiah and his people.
