2011 Alexandria bombing
In 2011, there was a very bad thing that happened in a city called Alexandria. A bomb exploded outside of a church during a religious holiday. This hurt a lot of people and made many families very sad.
It is believed that a group of people who did not like the same things as the people at the church put the bomb there. They wanted to hurt them and make them feel badly. But this was not a nice thing to do and it made a lot of people very angry.
The police and government worked very hard to find out who did this and make sure it did not happen again. But sometimes bad things happen and it is important that we try to help each other feel better and be kind to each other.
