Okay kiddo, so in 2011, all the leaders from different countries came together to talk about something really important. You see, sometimes things we do can make the Earth get warmer and warmer, and that's not good because it can cause lots of problems like floods, droughts, and bad weather.
So all these leaders wanted to make a plan to help stop the Earth from getting too warm.
