2015 White Sox–Orioles crowdless game
Okay, so imagine you are at a baseball game with your friends. You see lots of people in the stands cheering and eating hot dogs. They are all having a good time.
Now let's pretend that instead of going to the game, you decide to stay home and watch it on TV. You turn on the game and realize something is different. You don't see any people in the stands! It's just the players on the field.
That's what happened during the 2015 White Sox-Orioles game. There were no fans allowed to come to the game because of safety concerns.
You see, there was a big protest happening in Baltimore at the time and the police were worried that something bad might happen at the game if fans were allowed to attend. So they decided to play the game without any fans in the stands.
