2016 attack on the Saudi diplomatic missions in Iran

Okay kiddo, so let me tell you a story about two countries - Saudi Arabia and Iran. They don't get along very well because they have different ideas about how their countries should be run and how their religion should be practiced.

In January 2016, there was an incident where Saudi Arabia had executed a famous Shia Muslim cleric named Nimr al-Nimr. This made Iran very angry because they have many Shia Muslims in their country who they support, and they felt that Saudi Arabia was being unfair to the Shia Muslims.

So some people in Iran got very upset and decided to protest outside the Saudi Arabian embassy in Iran's capital city, Tehran. They were shouting and angry, and eventually some of them even broke into the embassy and set it on fire. This is very bad because embassies are like the homes of other countries in your country, and it's against the rules to harm them.

Saudi Arabia was very upset about this and said that Iran was responsible for not protecting their embassy. They also said that Iran was supporting the protesters, and they didn't like this.

So the two countries were really mad at each other, and it caused a lot of tension between them. They even stopped talking to each other for a while! But eventually, they realized that it wasn't helping anyone to be mad all the time. They started talking again and tried to find a way to work things out.

So that's the story of the 2016 attack on the Saudi diplomatic missions in Iran. It was a big fight between two countries who didn't like each other very much, but they eventually decided to try to be friends again.
