2019 Amazon rainforest wildfires

The Amazon rainforest is a very big and important place in South America that has lots of trees, animals, and plants. A wildfire is a very big fire that burns things like trees and grass. The Amazon rainforest had lots of wildfires in 2019, which means that lots of trees and plants were burned.

Now, sometimes people do these wildfires on purpose because they want to clear space for farming or other things. But sometimes, these fires can get out of control and spread very quickly. The Amazon rainforest wildfires in 2019 were really bad because they spread very quickly and burned a lot of areas.

This is bad because when the trees and plants are burned, they release carbon dioxide. This gas is not good for the air and can make it harder for us to breathe. The animals who live in the Amazon rainforest also lost their homes, making it hard for them to find food and survive.

Now, lots of people were very concerned about these wildfires and worked to put them out. But, it is important to take care of our environment and prevent fires like these from happening again so that the animals and plants in the Amazon rainforest can continue to live and thrive.
