2019–2024 Sudanese transition to democracy
Okay, kiddo, so imagine there is a place called Sudan. In this place, the people who were in charge before were not very nice and did not let everyone have an equal say in how things were done. This made a lot of people very unhappy and they wanted things to change so that everyone could have a say and live happier lives.
So, some people got together and decided to make a plan to try and make things better. They decided that they wanted Sudan to become a democracy, which means that everyone gets to have a say in how things are done.
